The Spiritual Causes
- Several concerted efforts are being made to prevent natural disasters or solve man-made calamities.
- Various countries and diverse organizations are making all kinds of contributions, in terms of man power, finance, knowledge and resources.
- They are proffering various solutions and remedies.
- However, they have not told themselves the truth. All their efforts and accomplishments are like the building of the tower of babel, which will eventually collapse on them.
- Already, it is getting late and many souls still need to be saved.
- They neglect the simple solution provided by Jesus, when tempest arose against Him and his disciples. Jesus simply stretched forth his hands towards heaven and over the raging tempest, and said, “Peace be still.”
- The implication is that solution comes from God, and not from man, who has persistently turned his back on God.
- So, what is the solution to all these abnormal happenings in life today? It is simply, do the will of God and obey His commandments.
- When a company builds a machine, the company also writes a manual on how to use and maintain the machine. God has created nature, which is a physical and spiritual machine. Also, He has given humanity the manual on to use and maintain nature. The manual are the laws: the commandments, statutes and precepts.
- For example, God said mankind should work for six days and rest on the seventh day.
8 Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath Day, and hallowed it. Exodus 20:8-11
Instead of doing this, which is for the benefit of humanity, people are working every day. To the extents that many companies and organizations are working 24 hours of the day, when they should be working for 10 hours or less.
- The result is generation of excess heat and motion, which has led the world to climate change. Today, the environments are getting hotter, icebergs are melting, mountains are collapsing and landslides are increasing. As a result, the volume of oceans is increasing, with the seas venting their raging tempest and floods on the environments.
- The real problem of the world is that both civil and religious leaders are misleading the world away from God. The leaders are more interested in doing whatever they like. They want to be the lords of the earth, whereas they were called to serve God, by ministering to humanity.
- And in many cases, both civil and religious leaders do not tell the public the truth. The worst is that they change what God said without the public knowing that such an evil is being committed behind the scene.
- It is a pity that majority of the world population do not know about the severity of the end time events, the natural disasters and man-made calamities, which are already at their doorsteps.
- The simple solution: Return to the original Ten Commandments as written in Exodus 20 and the seven annual festivals as stated in Leviticus 23. A word is enough for the wise.
- Even the religions are misleading the public, because the religious leaders forge and teach a set of commandments different from what God said, even without the public knowing that such a bad thing is happening.
- Whenever people read about God’s anger aqnd wrath or sword, they do not understand. They fail to understand that God’s anger, wrath and sword refer to natural disasters and man-made calamities – earthquake, seaquake, storm, tempest, flood, whirlwind, infection, diseases, death, pollution, famine and climate change. How heedless man is! And why are humanity so careless and disobedient, even to their own deceit and detriment.
- The religious leaders keep on deceiving people by telling people to pray for God’s mercy and intervention, without knowing that the disasters and calamities are punishements that are carefully measured out and used to chastise ‘the little, proud and disobedient human beings’.
- The right thing to do is that the religious leaders should lead the masses in reformation and restoration.
